He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman H. Whilden, Jr. and Dorothy Day Meischke; and his brothers, Harry, Tom Whilden, Bill and Chick Meischke.
He is survived by: his children, Leon Whilden, Jr. (Debbie) and Wendi Mazzucco (Jim); his grandson Eric Whilden; and his sister Sharon Lloyd (Kathy Waugh). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
