With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy Margaret Hayes of Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy Margaret left this world on February 22, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Wright and Beatrice Wright (Thorne); her husband Bob; and her sons, Stephen, David, Geoffrey and Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Carr, Michele Budick, Matthew Carr and Michael Carr; and her stepchildren, Susan Collier and John Robert (Hayes, III). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church (142 Port Elizabeth-Cumberland Rd, Millville, NJ 08348). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Port Elizabeth Methodist Cemetery (142 Port Elizabeth-Cumberland Rd, Millville, NJ 08348).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church.
