He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his children, Kelly (Timothy), Jamie (Michael) and William Jr. (Katelyn); his sister Nancy Widmaier; his grandchildren, Stella and Wesley; and his pets, Penny and Lilly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (318 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pequannock Township, NJ 07440).
