He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rizzo and Mary Rizzo (Latona). He is survived by: his spouse Marion Glowacki; his children, Salvatore Rizzo (Andrea), Lynne Rizzo, Kerry Rizzo (Kim), Michael Rizzo (Seyhan), Gina Marra (Richard), Nicholas Rizzo (Dana) and Brianna Ruflin (Timothy); his grandchildren, Sam Rizzo, Jamie Lynn Rizzo (Eric), Bryan Rizzo (Jen), Sherry Rizzo, Zachary Burns, Nicky Rizzo, River Marra, Dylan Marra and Joseph Ruflin; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Fabian and Julian; and his brothers, Pete Rizzo (Barbara) and Bill Rizzo. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Holy Spirit Church, 318 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Pequannock where Sam and family have attended for 35 years.
