In loving memory of Leonard Introna of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, who departed this world on September 23, 2024 at the age of 96. Leonard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauroantonio Introna and Giovania Introna; his wife Maria Cereso; his sister Angelina Messina (Charles); and his sister-in-law Emma.
He is survived by: his brother Lawrence of Introna's Food Market; his son Leonard Jr. (Margaret); his grandchildren, Kelsey Introna, Keegan Pepe (Anthony) and Leonard Introna; his close friend Lawrence Introna; and his great grandchildren, Carson and Bennet Pepe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church (155 West Pkwy, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leonard's memory to Camp Nejeda, P.O. BOX 156, Stillwater, NJ 07875 whose mission is "to enhance the lives of people with Type 1 Diabetes and their families through education, empowerment, camaraderie, supportive programs and fun" or Grace Hospice, 105 Fieldcrest Avenue #402, Edison, NJ 08857 would be greatly appreciated by his family.
