She is survived by: her former spouse Douwe Mulder; her husband Fred Messina; her children, Eleni Whitewolf, Hilda Paulhus (late Michael) and Henry Mulder (Laura); her stepchildren, James Messina (Jean), Fred Messina (Dolores), Kathy Harris (Scott) and Rob Messina (Cindy); her grandchildren, Jason, Lilly, Lexi, Lacey, Laney, Kaitlyn (Edmund), Christine (John), Joseph (Kim), Kevin, Ryan (Lynette), Eric (Jessica), John, Jacqueline and Timothy; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Makenzie, Emma, Lucas, Mason, Logan and Evan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Laufey's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
