It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John J. Toohey in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary A. Toohey; and his wife Ann Mahoney Toohey. He is survived by: his daughters, Maryann McNamara (James T.) of East Haddam, CT and Kathleen P. Ryan (Vincent) of Montville Township, NJ; his stepdaughter Donna Mahoney Acosta; and his brother Eugene Toohey of Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
