With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Merenda of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cambria and Anne Cambria; and her granddaughter Katie Garske. She is survived by: her children, Anne Garske (Chuck), James Merenda (Vanessa) and Oreste J. Merenda, III (Deborah); her brother Dennis Cambria (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Charlie and Sophia Garske.
Due to current restrictions, all guests attending the visitation and Mass must wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated by her family.
