We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Herbert Hollenberg of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Hollenberg and Harry Hollenberg; and his siblings, Seymour Hollenberg and Elma Starr. He is survived by: his wife Lee; his children, Ted Hollenberg (Rhoda Sperling), Judge Cathy Hollenberg Serrette (Dennis Serrette), Sue Hollenberg (Joel Stillerman) and Harry Hollenberg (Ann Budner); his grandchildren, Kyle Serrette (May Wheelwright), Desmond Serrette (Vanessa Leon), Malcolm Serrette, Ty, Jesse Stillerman, Samantha, Ian Hollenberg, Joshua and Lily Hollenberg; his great grandchildren, Lenox, Cyrus, Sol and Oso Serrette; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Scheck and Leonard Scheck.

A private graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p. m., Monday, January 25, 2021, for family only, in light of the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Temple Israel of Scranton or the donor's favorite charity.
