He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Sara (Richards); and his brother Harry. He is survived by: his wife Marie (Salleroli); his children, Christopher Mathes (Johnna) of Summerville and Danielle Wittner (Steven) of West Milford; his grandchildren, Zachary, Lindsay Wittner, James Thomas and Kiera Dziki; and his sister-in-law Angelina Conti (Michael). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
