He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor DeMattia and Theresa DeMattia; his wife Rose J. Frech; and his children, Dennis Deak (Livia), Judith Deak, Diana Busse (George), Carol Renardo and Monica Ryan (Seamus). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Emil's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Family and Friends for Freedom Fund would be greatly appreciated.
