It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine VanderGoot of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Eleanor; and her brother Jimmy. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her brother Peter Shepard; her children, Robert (Dawn), Michael (Kathleen) and Carol Wells (Anthony); her grandchildren, Charlotte, Daria, Amber, Rebecca, Michael, Melissa, Jessica, Aidan, Robyn and Mary; and her great grandchild Dean. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church (155 West Pkwy, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (155 West Pkwy, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444).
