He is survived by: his wife Verna Gabrielson Smith; his children, Elizabeth Smith Cornell, Donald Robert Smith (Patricia), Peter Marshall Smith and Paul Frederick Smith (Lee Ann); his grandchildren, Allyson Patricia Smith, Emily Elizabeth Cornell Ruiz (Cesar), Amanda Dawn Lurgio (Jon), Ashley Marie Smith, Lauren Elizabeth Smith, Robert Thomas Smith (Kate), Jeffrey Ellsworth Smith (Samantha), Sean Paul Smith and Peter Kristopher Smith; his great grandchildren, Justin Peter Ruiz, Catherine Marie Ruiz, Lesley Brianne Townsend, Garret Allyn Townsend, Luke Xavier Ruiz, Teresa Elizabeth Ruiz, Iliana Cecilia Ruiz, Laura Narcisa Ruiz, Finlay Nash Smith, Olivia Rose Smith, Selena Anne Ruiz, Jocelyn Elizabeth Lurgio and Quinn Emma Smith; his parents, Viola Smith and Stephen Lloyd Smith; and his brother Paul Lincoln Smith.
