We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Catherine Mary Macaluso (Pompton Plains, New Jersey). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph Macaluso; and her sibling William Pittman. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Macaluso (Rosa), Linda Bloomer (Ed) and George Macaluso (Craig); and her sibling Harry Pittman.

Colleen Adams wrote a sympathy message

“My mother, Eileen Byrnes, lived right across the hall from Kay and was a good friend of Kay's. Both Kay and my Mom were like college students running back and forth between apartments in their pajamas. They had movie nights together in Kay's apartment. Kay would always tell me, "Remember to bring her back because I will miss her" when I would pick up my Mom for a visit at my home. My Mom passed four years ago and Kay and another friend of my Mom's, Eileen, were at her bedside when God called her home. I remember Kay and Eileen singing songs at my Mom's bedside. It brought me much comfort that Kay and Eileen were with my Mom when I wasn't able to be there. Kay and I stayed friends after my Mom passed, but it was difficult as I live three hours away. Kay was a beautiful person inside and out. I am hoping she and my Mom are enjoying their friendship in heaven now. I will miss Kay. Colleen Adams”
