He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Mattei and Marianna Mattei; and his siblings, Angelo Mattei, John Mattei, Maralda Sienkiewicz, Maria Mockler and Lena Schab.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Mattei of Pompton Lakes, Patricia Iorio of Totowa and Rose Marie Luisi of Totowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home (111 Union Blvd, Totowa, NJ 07512). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (52 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
