He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barrett and Gladys Barrett; and his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his children, Donald (Anne), Steven (Beth) and Justine; his granddaughter Allison (Justin Florio); and his great grandchild Julian Florio.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pompton Lakes First Aid Squad would be greatly appreciated by his family.
