He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Garske and Nancy Garske; and his granddaughter Katie. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lehmann; his children, Lisa Lemonie (Michael), Chuck Garske (Anne) and Tom Garske (Mary Mullin); his sisters, Lois Galvin and Maryann Torsiello; and his grandchildren, Nicolette, Michael (Kristy), Charlie III, Sophia, Matthew and Kayla.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scanlan's (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's RC Church (17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery (2 Miller Rd, Kinnelon, NJ 07405).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory can be made to Tunnel to Towers in acknowledgement of Charlie's deep appreciation for our veteran's and first responders.
