He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Gillson; and his parents, Russell Gillson and Janeila Gillson. He is survived by: his children, Heather Corbo (Raymond), Dawn Hill (David) and Brian Sinkler (Nicole); his brother Marvin Gillson (Mary Ellen); his grandchildren, Aaron Hill (Karland), Olivia, Victoria Hill, Bennet, Lily Sinkler, Ella, Caleb, Zoe and Lily Corbo; and his great grandchildren, Katie Moore and Audrey Hill.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
