He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes Elzinga and Trijntje Elzinga; his sister Pierkje Moens (Dierk); his brother-in-law Nicholas Lindemulder; and his nephews, Johan Moens and James Lindemulder.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte of Pompton Lakes; his children, Janice Kuiken (Dennis) of Wyckoff, NJ, Carolyn Salvesen (John) of Keller, TX, Patricia Moschella (Robert) of Byram Township, NJ and John Elzinga (Sara) of Lafayette, NJ; his siblings, Jane Lindemulder of Wayne, NJ and Simon Elzinga (Judith) of Marietta, PA; his sister-in-law Rena Martens (George) of Wayne, NJ; his grandchildren, Ryan Kuiken (Laura Rocio), Laura Royle (Simon), Michael Moschella (Hayley Vicedomini), Brittany Chandler (Dallas), Alyssa Morin (Jake), Joseph Moschella, Brian Salvesen (Emma Pourzan), Jessica Elzinga, Andrew Elzinga, Jenna Salvesen, Kaitlyn Elzinga, Andrew Salvesen and Elizabeth Elzinga; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Chandler, Luke Royle, Aurora Chandler, Trevor Morin, Oliver Royle, Jeannette Hoogendoorn (Nico), Arien Moens, George Lindemulder (Susan), John Lindemulder (Susan), Paul Lindemulder (Heidi), Peter Elzinga (Stephanie), Kristen Ridge (Michael), George Martens, Laura Martens and David Martens (Andrea); and also, Cor Moens (Janet) and Tineke Groen-Moens. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren "on the way"; twelve nieces and nephews.
His early employment at the dairy farm set the foundation for the outstanding work ethic that Andy would hold the rest of his life.
