She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest DeVoe and Susan DeVoe; her husband Stewart J. "Red" Dempsey; and her former husband Edward J. Herman. She is survived by: her son Wayne Dempsey; her grandchildren, Maeve, Melissa Miller (Stephen) and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Claire, Piper and Emma; her stepchildren, Nicholee Valentine and Kurt Herman; and her stepgrandson Garret Valentine.
