She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Anderson and Ruth Conklin Anderson; her husband Captain H. E. Clayton; and her stepson Kim Lowell Clayton. She is survived by: her friend Gayle Gravino Ferry; her former husband Herschel Everett Clayton; her daughter Diane Carole Clayton; her cousin Penny Conklin Jeannechild; her grandchildren, James Everett Clayton, Christen Clayton and Cassie Clayton; her children-in-law, Susan Barnas and David Spangler; and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle May and Kieran Lowell.
