She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Miller and Rose Nemeth Miller; her husband H. Thomas Emery; her siblings, Louis, John Miller and Irene Deacon; and her daughter-in-law Jody Emery.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Bevilacqua (Larry), Thomas and Sharon; and her granddaughter Melissa Emery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley Emery's name to the Huntington Volunteer Fire Co., 1 Maple Ave., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
