He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Earl Gunderman and Vida Carlene Cook Gunderman; his sisters, Vida Bessie Gunderman and Nancy Lewis; and his granddaughter Jessica Dougherty.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Dougherty (Thomas) of Milford, NJ; his brother Carl Gunderman; and his granddaughters, Clare Dougherty and Hannah Dougherty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
