He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark W. Buskirk and Norma Van Buskirk (Klutz). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Wiseburn Van Buskirk; his children, Clark R. (Jane), Kimberly A. Hutchison (James) and Cathleen E. Pursell (Robert); his grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Kelsey, Kayla, Donald, Nikki and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Keegan, Grace, Catherine, Brianna, Avery and Everett.
