He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Fontana and Frances Fontana (Jiorle); and his sister Gaetana Traina. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Russell (Amy) of Phillipsburg and Richard of Pohatcong Township; his grandchildren, Abigail and Anthony; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Zukasky (Edward) of Forks Township and Richard Shelly (Nancy) of Forks Township.
