He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Kane and Barbara Sandstrom Kane Sabroe; and his brother Kevin Kane. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Cashman Kane; his daughter Shannon Kane; his son-in-law Abdullah Salim; his son Sean Michael Kane; his brother Brian; his sister-in-law Patricia Kane; his stepfather Ralph Sabroe; and his nephews, Michael and Christopher Kane. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
