She was predeceased by: her parents, Cruz Alers (Rios) and Miguel A. Alers. She is survived by: her sons, Manuel D. Rodriguez (Connie) and Hector Rodriguez; her grandsons, Manuel D. Rodriguez, Jr. and Carlos Manuel Rodriguez; and her siblings, Ernesto, Jose G, Jose M, Miguel Alers, Idalia and Ana Alers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
