She is survived by: her children, Derrick Murphy, Tamara Murphy, Joyce Murphy and Benjiman Evans; her siblings, Robert Murphy, Dyanne Hudgins, Linda Murphy, Albert Couplin and Steven Couplin; her grandchildren, Nahki Murphy-Harris, Kayoni Baker, Nameer Burton, Ny'Asia Burton, Tashana Brown, Jentle Brown, Derrica Murphy, Christine Brown, Imani Henderson, Xymira McCoy, Markwan Perish, Ja'Niyah Murphy, Dee-Anah Murphy and Derrick Murphy 3rd; her nephew Tracy Murphy; her grandsons, Derrick Murphy Jr. and Kayon Burton; her cousin Alice Ellis; her close friends, Gail Walker and Paula Rivera; and her great grandchildren, Nova Cox and Izaiah Drennan.
