With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris S. Brown of Pleasantville, New Jersey, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Shaw (Grady) and Talmadge Shaw; her husband Holley W. Brown, Sr.; and her siblings, Ozella Dawson, Talmadge Shaw, Jr., Rosa Davis, Madie Shaw, Bernice Smith, Thelma Burns, Olivia Spence, Elwin and Daniel Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney, Tracey Shaw, Troy, Holley, Jr., Sadie, Willie and Candace Brown; and her cousins, Roxie, Lavonne, Maggie and John. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenidge Funeral Homes, Inc. (301 Absecon Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
