He was predeceased by: his parents, William Adams and Gracie Adams (Calland). He is survived by: his close friend Mary L. Johnson; and his sons, Elder Kera Johnson of Raleigh and Minister Dathan Wright of Charleston. He is also survived by two aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, godchildren, and a host of friends.
