In the sacred silence of farewell, Bernita Marie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bernita Marie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Tolula (Jackson) and Isaiah Hamilton Casper; her husband Randall Washington; her son Randy Washington; and her siblings, Alfred, Isaiah, Jenny and Mary.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Donya K. Washington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church (118 W Bayview Ave, Pleasantville, NJ 08232). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery (Blvd. 50, Weymouth, NJ 08330).
