He was predeceased by: his parents, Eustathios Gerondelis and Athanasia Gerondelis (Meligonitis); and his siblings, Nicholas Gerondelis, Stilianos Gerondelis, Efstratia Calantjis and Mary Bernard.

He is survived by: his wife Aliki Stylianou; his sons, Peter and Eustathios; his grandchildren, Alexander, Katherine and James; and his brother Peter Gerondelis.
