She is survived by: her spouse Byron L. Douglas; her children, Frederick Lester, Deborah Douglas-Wright and Pedro Douglas; her stepdaughter Cheryl Pierce; her brother Frederick Lester (Vicki); and her grandchildren, Anthony Wright II, Tatiyana, DaJuan Gratz, Amanda Jimenez-Menendez, Bogdan Douglas-Voroneanu, Dragos Douglas-Voroneanu, Johnathan and Colleen Pierce. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
