He was predeceased by: his father Roland Boatwright; his grandsons, Na-Jai N. Boatwright, Jr. and Naim Jali Fowler; and his brother Stacy Boatwright. He is survived by: his wife Deyrdra Boatwright; his children, Ni-Asia Boatwright-Rhodes (Brian), Nikyndra Fowler (Jalil) and Na-Jai N. Boatwright, Sr.; his grandson Jayon; his mother Margaret Louise Boatwright; his brothers, Maxie Davis (Carolyn) and Brian Boatwright; and his sister-in-law Tangela Boatwright. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
