She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayer Edgar Reeder and Daisy Ellabelle Sheppard Reeder; her husband James Wilbert Johnson; and her siblings, Henry "Boy" Reeder, Orlander "Brother" Reeder, Nilem Reeder, Elizabeth "Honey" Burton, Mattie "Doll" Wilson, Daisy Dawkins, Willie Mae Nelson, Benzina Rorie, Angelina "Bay" Reeder, Margaret Stafford and Estella Carey.
She is survived by: her cousin Mary Lou Burton; her children, Michael Johnson of New Jersey, Suzanne Darby of New Jersey and Joyce Johnson (Milton) of New Jersey; her grandchildren, Michael Atkinson, Shauna King-Oswald (Tucker), James Fletcher, Ryan Darby and Tyler Johnson; her sister Thomasina Robertson of Winston Salem; her siblings-in-law, Anna Reeder of Ninety-Six and Daniel Johnson (Gloria) of Plainfield; and her niece Cheryl Pierce (Jonathan). She is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
