We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2023, at the age of 78, Mack C. Jones of Plainfield, New Jersey, born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grayer Mervis Jones and Lillian Meacham Jones; and his sister Dianetta Gladden. He is survived by: his friend Helen Vernell Alexander; his wife Helen Vernell Jones; his children, Eric Jones of Virginia Beach, VA and Tara Battles (Tawan) of Bartlett, TN; his grandchildren, Tyler Battles of Bartlett, TN, Erica Jones of Roselle, NJ and Talen Battles of Bartlett, TN.; his siblings, Helen Glasgow (Tyrone), Gertrude Hicks (Linwood), Gwendolyn Rainey (Freddy), Jacqueline Jones of Boydton, VA, Solomon Jones of Elizabeth, NJ, Calvin Jones of Atlanta, GA and Glenn Jones of Boydton, VA.; and his family Messiah Baptist Church. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
