She was predeceased by: her mother Caroline Thomas Harris; her husband C. W. Bufkin, Sr.; her children, C. W. Bufkin, Jr. (Ricky) and Linda Gail Johnson; and her siblings, Rosie Lee Smith, Arlene Bertha Simpson, John Harris and Levell Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda I Bufkin of Hazlehurst, MS, Sharon Bufkin of Plainfield, NJ and David Bufkin of Plainfield, NJ; and her grandchildren, Angela Edmonds (Lawrence) of Roselle, NJ, Stephanie Bufkin of Rahway, NJ, James Bufkin of Leesburg, FL, Eugene Bufkin (Veronique) of Orlando, FL, Shavon Bufkin and Panama. She is also survived by 10 great grand children and 1 great great grand child.
