He was predeceased by: his sons, Lewis Joyner and Michael Joyner. He is survived by: his wife Helena Joyner; his sister Willie Mae Ward; his sons, Tony Dyer and Johnny Joyner Jr.; and his granddaughter Tiffany Joyner. He is also survived by cousins and other relatives.
