He was predeceased by: his wife Agatha "Anja" Tuyp; his son Paulus Tuyp; and his sister Huibje Tuijp. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Felter (Raymond) of Pittsburgh, PA; his daughter-in-law Carol Ann Tuyp of South Plainfield; his grandchildren, Nicholas Tuyp of South Plainfield, Allison Pavey (Nicholas) of South Plainfield, Ryan and Kevin Felter of Pittsburgh, PA.; and his siblings, Maartje Tol of Volendam, Marietje Schilder of Volendam, Jannie Tuijp (Marietje) of Volendam, Garie Tuijp of Volendam, Aaf Bergen (Peter) of Volendam, Klaas Tuijp (Tini) of Volendam and Nellie Tuip of Volendam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
