He is survived by: his father James L. Grundy, Sr.; his wife Kenetta Grundy; his son James L. Grundy, III; his siblings, Jerome Grundy (Petra), Brian Grundy, Felicia Grundy and David Grundy; and his aunt Olivia Willis. He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces, Nephews.

James also achieved his American Heart Association, American Red Cross/Basic Life Support, as well as, CPR Instructor Certifications.
