He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Edward Robinson and Marion Estelle Wallace Robinson; his sisters, Thelma Marie Robinson and Norma Wallace Robinson McFadden; and his daughter Tobey Lynne Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Marlene Jones Robinson; his sister Vivian Monroe; his children, Leslie Anne Robinson and Houston Robinson, Jr. (Brigitte McCray); his grandchildren, Antoinette, Lauren, Craig, Portia, Victoria and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Jhene, Jade, Jarvis Houston, Marlie and Myles.

In lieu of flowers please consider donating to this scholarship fund set up in Mr. Robinson's name for a graduating senior from Plainfield High School.
