She was predeceased by: her sister Veronica Neal Brown; her mother Sally Anderson Brown; and her brother Calvin David Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Lisa A. Brown, Johnathan O. Brown (Alethea), Thomas M. Brown, David M. Brown and Michele Downie; and her sister Brenda Neal. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
