Though Ernestine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott Lassiter and Thelma Barnes Lassiter; her husband Robert Patterson; and her brothers, Delano and Edward Lee Lassiter.
She is survived by: her children, Cliff Patterson, Belinda Patterson and Monica Morgan (Neil); and her brothers, Mills and Forrest Lassiter (Gloria). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (324 Monroe Ave, Plainfield, NJ 07063). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
