She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie D. Lawson and Sammie James Lawson; and her siblings, Eunice Lawson-McCloud, Barbara Lawson and William.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evette D. Lawson-Frederick and Osceola; her grandchildren, Isaiah D. Ferreira and Paris A. Frederick; her nieces and nephews, Denise Lawson-Smith, Euroasia Perdomo, ShaKira Smith, Stephanie Lawson, Gwendolyn McCloud, Samuel Roberts, Bernie "Allen" Lawson and Alonzo Lawson; and her stepbrother Lucius Lawson.
