He is survived by: his wife Nell Rose Graham Kirkpatrick; his children, Mary Austin Kirkpatrick Goodwin (Tommy) of Ellerbe and Samuel Graham Kirkpatrick (Karen) of Milford, NJ; and his brother Roger Kirkpatrick of Marietta, OH. He is also survived by his grandchildren whom he adored and cherished, Hailey Austin Goodwin Gardner (Bennett), Stephanie Britt Kirkpatrick, Kyle Thomas Goodwin, Benjamin James Kirkpatrick, Samuel Keith Kirkpatrick and many loved nephews and nieces.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, for memorial donations to be given to the Calvary Baptist Church, Scotland Regional Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
