We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2021, at the age of 56, Bernard Barnett Sr. of Plainfield, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Barnett Sr. and Helen Barnett; his grandparents, Harold Barnett, Dolphus and Johnnie Johnson; his sister Kiesha Barnett; his brothers-in-law, Keith A. Bailey and Rodney Palmer; and his grandson Ethan C. Schenck.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Dailey Barnett; his children, Zakiyah M. Jasper (Rashun), Latoyya Z. Schenck (Quran), Nafisa L. Abare (Umar), Maleehah A. Barnett and Bernard Barnett Jr. (Khadija); his siblings, Deena Bailey and Walter D Barnett Jr. (Cindy); his siblings-in-law, Frederica Palmer, Michael Dailey and Frederick Dailey Jr.; his grandmother Hattie Barnett; and his aunts, Julia Warren, Nora Brown and Audrey Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters and close friends.
