He is survived by: his wife Frances Beale; his brother-in-law James Blackmond Jr; his sons, Briggs and Eric Beale; his grandchildren, Sadena, Amber, Perignon, James, Gene, VIdal, Erica, Lateefah, Bre, Tony, Javon, Nicole and Shamika; his sisters, Margaret, Virginia, Nannie, Marjorie and Phyllis; and his godchildren, Redena and Regina.
