He is survived by: his parents, Anne Azzara (Sokoloski) and Albert Azzara of Westport Island; his wife Suzanne Azzara of Westport Island; his sister Roberta Azzara of Plainfield; his stepchildren, Nathaniel Ellis (Maureen) of Princeton, NJ, Benjamin Ellis of California and Hilary (Jacob Braley); his children, Elijah of Bristol, ME., Lilah of Bristol, ME. and Eloise of Bristol, ME.; and his niece Erika Adelman of Birdsboro, PA..
