He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jack" and Annie Bell Moore; and his siblings, Sonny, Inez and Clarence.
He is survived by: his uncle James; his aunt Kate Williams; his children, Christine Strond, La-Tarso Muhammad (Tasha), Andrea Brown (Peaches) and Alvin Moore; his close friend Herbert Glasco; his wife Jane M. Moore; his child Peaches; and his sisters, Margaret Moore Jones, Rosetta Stigall (Saunders) and Dorothy Moyler (Theodore). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grand children, 3 Aunts and 1 Uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
