With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margot Adelaida Hernández of Pittstown, New Jersey, born in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Elnar and Caridad Elnar; her husband Wilberto Hernández, Jr. (Margot); her sisters, Oneida Terra and Emelia Ferreira; and her brother-in-law Hugo Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Felipe Hernández, Sr. (Courtney MacEwen-Hernández), Margarita B. Hernández-Abeigon (John Abeigon) and Yasmin E. Hernández-Manno (James A. Manno); her sisters, Aida Martinez and Zenaida Guzmán (Benjamin Guzmán); her grandchildren, Felipe Hernández, Jr., Jacqueline M. Hernández, Jessica A. Hernández and William J. Manno; and her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Arroyo, Gabriel Hernández, Jeremiah Velazquez, Leila Hernández and Jade Hernández.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margot's name may be made Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation .
